For the 2024 Great Plains Season, I served as one of three artists on the final season selection committee and collaborated with playwrights as a new works dramaturg. I also worked as Access Dramaturg for the company, producing an accessibility white paper for future company success.

violet, Millikin university
For the Spring 2022 Production of Tesori and Crawley’s Violet at Millikin University, I worked as the production dramaturg.
Provided rehearsal and tech feedback and offered in-person consultations with the cast and creative team.
Compiled a dramaturgy packet with background and a running glossary for the company.
Created a video installation designed for lobby displays positioned as patrons entered the theatre. It also features original rehearsal photography.

Teenage Dick, Woolly mammoth theatre in co-production with The Huntington & Pasadena Playhouse
My essay, “‘There’s Speech of Our Bodies’: Returning to the Theatre with Teenage Dick,” appeared in the playbill at Woolly Mammoth Theatre.
“‘There’s Speech of Our Bodies’: Returning to the Theatre with Teenage Dick” also appeared alongside its co-productions at The Huntington Theatre Company and Pasadena Playhouse.
As a part of my work in public programming for this production, I helped organize and moderate a public talk, “Shakespeare, Disability, and Performance,” with scholars Katherine Schaap Williams (U Toronto) and Justin Shaw (Clark U), which was digitally available at Woolly and The Huntington.

La casa de la laguna, Gala hispanic theatre
Over the course of the 20-21 and 21-22 seasons, I worked as a dramaturg and script consultant for the world premiere production of La Casa de la Laguna at Gala Hispanic Theatre in Washington, D.C. The Helen-Hayes Awards Recommended production, adapted by Caridad Svich and directed by Rebecca Aparicio, ran from February 5, 2022 - February 22, 2022.
Proposed developmental feedback on multiple versions of the script.
Provided rehearsal feedback and guidance for the company in season planning conversation.
she kills monsters, University of maryland, baltimore county
For the University of Maryland, Baltimore County’s Spring 2022 production of Qui Nguyen’s She Kills Monsters, directed by Danielle Drakes, I was the access dramaturg/disability consultant.
Offered rehearsal feedback that impacted the direction of character development, blocking, and design.
Facilitated exploratory creative conversations about the production design and performance of disability.
Mediated cast conversations about how to ethically approach the script’s representations of disability, queerness, and trauma
